CT317 High-Strength Wear-Resistant Coating
Features
-
Excellent toughness and outstanding impact resistanceIt features superior toughness and exceptional impact resistance, which can effectively resist material impact, mechanical collision and heavy-load shock. It withstands wear under dynamic equipment operating conditions and is not prone to cracking, peeling or damage after long-term service.
-
Acid resistance, alkali resistance and high temperature resistanceIt boasts excellent resistance to acid, alkali and high temperature, capable of resisting erosion by acidic and alkaline media. It adapts to harsh industrial working conditions with coexisting high temperature and corrosion, featuring strong environmental adaptability and long-lasting stable protection.
-
Suitable for repair and protection under various wear conditionsWith wide compatibility, it can meet the requirements of repair and long-term protection under diverse industrial wear working conditions. Whether for particle scouring, powder abrasion, medium corrosion or mechanical impact wear scenarios, it can rapidly repair worn defects on equipment. It fully satisfies the wear and corrosion protection demands of heavy industry, chemical, conveying and desulfurization equipment.
-
Non-sagging and easy to applyIt has good leveling property and hardly sags, with no sagging when constructed on vertical and overhead surfaces. The construction operation is simple with high fault tolerance, forming a smooth and uniform coating layer and delivering higher construction efficiency.

Application Method
1.Surface Treatment: Clean the surface of the repair area to expose the bare substrate, then roughen the substrate surface – the rougher the better. Finally, wipe off surface dust and grease with cleaning agent and leave it to air dry completely.
2.Primer Brushing: Mix Component A and Component B of CT316 High-Strength Wear-Resistant Primer thoroughly at a mixing ratio of 3:1, then brush the blended mixture onto the treated metal substrate surface.
3.Mixing CT317 High-Strength Wear-Resistant Coating: Take proper amounts of Component A and Component B at a ratio of 3:1 and stir evenly. The mixed material must be consumed within the specified working time (i.e., before the material turns tacky). Any material that becomes sticky and hardened shall not be reused.
4.Application: Apply the mixed coating onto the uncured primer layer and compact firmly to achieve full wetting with the substrate. The recommended coating thickness ranges from 2 mm to 10 mm, with a maximum single-layer thickness of 20 mm. If a total thickness over 20 mm is required, apply the coating layer by layer. Level and smooth the surface of the final layer. This material cannot be machined; strictly control coating thickness to prevent interference during assembly.
5.Curing: The workpiece can be put into light-load service after curing for 24 minutes at 25°C. If the ambient construction temperature is too low, full curing can be achieved by heating or extending the curing time.
Precautions
1.The product parameters are obtained under laboratory conditions. Given the complexity of actual working conditions, users are recommended to conduct pre-tests based on their on-site service environments.
2.Curing time will be prolonged when the ambient construction temperature drops. Appropriate heating measures can be adopted to accelerate curing if needed.
If the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C or a large batch of materials is mixed at one time, the curing rate will increase, so the working time after mixing shall be shortened accordingly.
Shelf Life
Store hermetically in a cool and dry place with a shelf life of 1 year. Avoid inversion and collision during transportation; ship as non-dangerous goods.
