CT4580A+CT4580B Polyurethane Topcoat
Features
-
Resistant to a variety of chemical mediaSuperior dual‑layer barrier outperforms single‑coat systems against chloride, salt spray and petrochemicals for coastal petrochemical steel structures. Prevents rust blistering and re‑corrosion. Compatible matched formula, multi‑application methods, long‑term protection and low life‑cycle cost.
-
Adapt to various working condition requirementsFor coastal salt‑fog: dual‑layer film blocks chloride/moisture to prevent electrochemical corrosion. For petrochemical sites: topcoat withstands chemical fumes. For outdoor UV: excellent weather & color retention against chalking/cracking. For continuous production: long service life reduces refurbishment and shutdowns.
Usage Method
CT4580 Topcoat Application
The primer surface shall be clean, free of dust, oil stains and re‑rusting. Thoroughly stir the product and adjust it to a suitable application viscosity. Apply 1‑2 uniform coats to achieve a full and even paint film without pinholes, missing coats or sagging.
Application Environment Requirements: The ambient temperature shall be above 5℃ with no condensation on the substrate. Avoid rainy, heavy‑fog, high‑humidity and strong‑wind weather. Application is prohibited during morning and evening condensation periods in coastal areas to guarantee film‑forming and curing quality.
Curing and Maintenance: After painting completion, allow natural ventilation curing until full curing, then the coating can be put into long‑term service in coastal petrochemical plant areas.
