CT328 Large Aggregate Wear-Resistant Coating

CT328 is a two-component, dark grey paste-like epoxy wear-resistant coating filled with ultra-hard spherical large ceramic and quartz aggregates. It features fast curing speed and easy handling, with no sagging on vertical and overhead surfaces. It is used to repair worn equipment or fabricate pre-protective coatings under service conditions involving heavy particle impact, such as chutes, coal mills, slurry pumps, separators and other equipment.

Application Areas

    Repair of Worn Equipment
    It can repair worn equipment under heavy particle impact service conditions, such as elbows, coal mills, dust collectors, exhaust fans, pump liners and impellers, fan casings and blades.
  • Fabrication of Pre-Protective Coatings
    Fabrication of Pre-Protective Coatings
    It can be applied to form pre-protective coatings for equipment exposed to heavy particle impact, including chute liners, hoppers, pump impellers and other components.

Application Method

1、Surface Preparation:The surface to be coated shall be ground or sandblasted, then cleaned with neutral detergent. Coating shall be carried out as soon as possible after cleaning and drying to prevent re-rusting, oxidation or contamination.

2、Mix Proportioning:Weigh Component A and Component B accurately at a mass ratio of 2:1.

3、Blending:Stir and knead in one single direction during blending until streaks of different colors from Component A and B completely disappear and a uniform color is achieved to guarantee thorough mixing.

4、Application:Spread CT328 evenly onto the surface to be protected with a scraper to reach the required thickness.

Precautions

1、The mixed adhesive shall be used up within 30 minutes to avoid waste caused by curing.

2、Accurate weighing and thorough mixing are required during material preparation, and the coating layer shall be compacted during application.

3、When the temperature is below 15°C, heating equipment can be used to accelerate curing after the coating is initially cured.

4、Store at room temperature in a cool and dry place.
