FRDP-PP heat shrink sleeve (HSS) with a separate closure patch is mainly used for field joint coating of 3LPP coated steel pipelines and thermalinsulated pipelines. CYCT 3LPP heat shrink sleeves composite cross-linkedpolypropylene backing and modified polypropylene adhesive.

3LPP coating, Heat shrink sleeve HSS, bonds the steel substrate,epoxy and factory applied 3LPP coating excellently to form a continuous anddurable corrosion protection system on the pipeline.

3LPP heat shrink sleeve Properties

3LPP heat shrink sleeve is comprised of the same materials as, and offers equivalent performance to, the 3LPP factory-applied coating as follows:
CYCT Cross-linked PP sleeve offers the hardness, mechanical protection and resistance to moistureabsorption required on critical higher temperature, and often deepwater,pipelines.
High Temperature Epoxy on the Steel provides resistance to corrosion and to Cathodic disbandment while allowing relatively low installation temperatures.
The high performance adhesive bonds the polypropylene sleeve tothe epoxy layer and fuses to the 3LPP factory-applied coating where the joint coating overlaps to eliminate the possibility of moisture ingress.
