Formulate inspection plan + optical cable detection + excavation of cable test pits + formulate rectification plan for shallow-buried optical cables
Case Study on Shallow Burial Depth Inspection of Optical Cables Parallel to Pipeline from Chengbei Gas Transmission Station to Zhanjiang Gas Transmission Station of PipeChina

Project Introduction
The survey covers optical cables laid alongside the roughly 24-kilometer natural gas pipeline running between Chengbei Gas Transmission Station of South China Natural Gas Sales Center and Zhanjiang Gas Transmission Station of PipeChina. The core function of such pipeline-parallel optical cables is real-time monitoring of oil and gas pipeline operating conditions and data transmission, integrating communication delivery and safety sensing capabilities. Given the critical importance of optical cable protection, precise detection of cable routes and burial depths is required to implement rectification and protection measures for sections with insufficient burial depth.
Main Scope of Work
1.Accurately trace the horizontal route alignment of the approximately 24 km buried optical cables;
2.Measure the burial depth of optical cables and verify depths via test pit excavation;
3.Generate accurate optical cable route drawings and burial depth data sheets;
4.Submit a survey report compliant with industrial standards.
